which one conquer the world.... Microsoft or Macintosh?

Some countries use Microsoft platform as their basic operating system while another prefer to use Macintosh. in your country which of these two operating system mostly used? like my country more than 80% used Microsoft. why they conquer?

i think the problem is that the hardware is really there and many people all bought computers to match windows. but if people have a choice to install mac os x to a generic pc well microsoft would be a memory. and the software sales of MAC os x will boom.
