I could be that they are not getting the mails. I too mailed my friends and my daughter. When I was talking to my daughter on the phone I asked why she hadn't registered and she said that she hadn't got any email. She sent an email to MyLot, but they haven't yet replied. I suggest you write to your friends and ske if they have received your referral. Hope you get it sorted.
