I will just eat it. I avoid the foods that I would refuse to eat if it were made wrong. Like hamburgers, it must be well done. So for fear that they would under cook it, I refuse to order one in a restuarant besides places like Mickey D's or Sonic. :)
If I don't like the food, I will just end up not eating it instead of complaining. However, there have been times that a good server has asked me if I do not like it and will offer to bring me something else. I find that really sweet. :) But I don't go out of my way to complain.

I never go to Junk food places like Macdonalds and Burger King, I avoid them like the plague. I'm always wary of things like Pork when eating out and things like seafood. I am usually pretty assertive when it comes to faulty goods and returning stuff, but I just won't complain when it comes to eating food in restaurants, I've seen what cooks and chefs do to food when someone has complained and it makes me feel ill!!!

Thus, a good reason to NOT complain and just eat at home instead. LOL
I don't eat out much anymore either. I have had to change my diet due to being pre-diabetic. So I am not allowed to eat foods high in carbs. Yeah, this is not a good thing for a person that loves foods that are high in carbs. And if I want a salad, I see no point going to a restaurant when I can make the same thing at home. Not too thrilling of food selections.

I used to be a person that would just take the cold food and eat it or put up with rude comments from others but, since I have had children there seems to be a mother tiger thing happening. I stand up for what is wrong and complain if something is not what I ordered or taken the wrong way. I don't think I am too aggressive though and it is amazing how much more you get when you stand up for yourself or others.

Depends on what the problem actually is...I mean if I was in a busy restaurant and it took a while for my food to come and it was a touch cold - NAH I wouldn't complain about it, because I have worked and still working in that industry, and I know how tough it is...if it's a problem with internet or something - yeah I do ring the company I am with, and see what is going on - they are always happy to help me and best of all the problem does get fixed...!

Yes .. I do complain ... but I always do it in a nice, polite and friendly way ... if the food is cold I call over the waitress and say it's cold .. generally speaking if the food is cold it's probably just a microwaved frozen meal so I would not want it reheated and I wouldn't expect to have to pay for it either .. and I obviously had gone to the wrong kind of place to eat anyway.
If the food is proper 'cooked there and then' restaurant food and simply not been very well cooked I would probably ask politely if it was the chefs day off :o)
Poor or slow service is very difficult .. but if I haven't been forwarned that the service may be slower than usual I would ask the head waiter if there was a problem with my meal ...
One thing I always do though is to compliment good food and good service .. all too often we are only too happy to complain but then rarely pay compliments when things go well ...

I don't complain unless i necessarily have to. Like if my meat is undercooked, I would send it back other than that I wouldn't do or say anything about it.

Hi dear wolfie,
If I am in your shoes I will tell the waiter in the restaurant directely that I am not satisfied with her or his service of course I will say it with a smile but if he or she just ignore it and don't take it seriously then I will consider to find the manager of the restaurant.
Actually, there are so many things that happen in our daily life ,what's more ,not all the things will go to the way we excepted ..so we don't need to spent all of our time to complain ..I don't know whether you realized when you are complaining the time is passed ..life is limited rather than spend time in complain we should do some more mainful things ..I am always bear in mind one sentence"if we can't change the enverioment we can change ourselves to fit them"
Hope you are doing well..
Molly
