Do you keep your television on when you're sleeping?

I do. Sometimes I forget to turn the television off but when I'm alone in my room I really leave the television on because I'm a bit scared in the dark. It helps me to sleep when I here sounds like the tV or the radio.

When my husband was in Iraq I usually fell asleep with the TV as I couldn't sleep in a too quiet house. After a few nights of bad dreams I discovered that often late night TV can get a bit bizarre so I started putting in DVD's that didn't have violence or anything too strange. The scary dreams stopped after that.

Really? I never had that kind of experience. I sleep quite well even if the television is on.

No I do not. I do not have a tv in my bedroom. I don't beleive that the bedroom is a place for a television. It is a place of peacefulness and rest. I do fall asleep in the living room with the television on sometimes. I always wake up though - a can't stand the extra noise that it brings. I have to sleep in quiet. I can't even fall asleep if my husband is snoring before I fall asleep!

We are very opposite then. Because I can't sleep if I don't hear sounds when my eyes are closed. I can sleep quietly when I'm with someone like my sisters maybe because I feel much secure.
