the message bible

I had a serious read of the message version of the Bible a couple of weeks ago. I was pleasantly surprised at how well certain points were made in such a clear way to the reader. Before that, I had only read more traditional versions. I think I might actually go and buy myself a copy. Do you like this version?

I LOVE IT !!! I do not use it for serious Bible study. But it is great for just reading through, devotionals, or your quiet time with God.

I have read passages in The Message. I do agree that it relates to young readers or newer Christians. I do not enjoy reading from teh King James version - there are too many thee and thou for me to really comprehend the message. I have also wanted to check into purchasing a copy of The Message
