I am curious how others raise their children with a spiritual value if the kids have obvious spiritual values that differ from your own.

Definately not. Spiritually speaking , I have one child who is a dye hard for book knowledge , he would be a perfect role model in organized religion. Then another who is spiritually so in touch with what she believes I am amazed she is 7. So spiritually speaking my son and are I are very different, and sometimes thats hard to manage.

I think what we are saying here is what I believe. If I am wrong, I am sorry.
There are two ways how to worship God.
One is to follow man made rules on how and what to do in the religion.
Two is to feel the presence of the mighty God, and have a personal walk with the Holy Spirit.
The two ways can conflict with one another. But who are you going to answer to when you die? Man or God?

As parents, we tend to teach our children only what we know and believe. However when they grow up, they may feel led to choose something else, and we have to respect their choices. I do think that we should offer God to them though.
