advice???

my wife and i have a mutual friend who previously in her life had a eating disored.now she has started it up again and happen to confide in my wife telling her shes doing it again.now her fiance says if she ever does it again he will leave her and hes pretty serious about it.so my wife keeps asking me what to do and i have no idea except for her to sit down and talk to her about it.im not really sure how to help my wife approach it and i feel bad cause her fiance is my bestfriend.so i really dont know how to help without causing a mess in their relationship.

Your wife needs to sit down and talk to her friend about it. Maybe she can convince her to seek help. However, I don't think your wife needs to tell her friend's fiance. Her friend confided in her and it is not ok to break that trust. If she does, it will more than likely destroy the friendship.

yeah thats what i have been saying she wont tell her fiance she doesnt wannna destroy everything she justs wants to help her because she cares so much for her

Eating disorders are very very hard to overcome. First of all....If her man really loves her....he will help her not leave her. That will only make her eating disorder worse.(believe i know). I am battling bulemia myself. It sucks.
