I have never written a petition to the government or politician. I have signed a number of petitions put forward by various people demonstrating int he street. I have signed only those which I agree. I have no idea what happened to all the petitions I have signed. Regards

occasionally I get worked up enough to sign a petition or send a letter to a politician. But primarily I stay out of political discussions

I write to politicians all the time...local and federal and sometimes international. I sign petitions... I've even started my own petitions.

Very rarely. I have to be pretty intense about the subject to write to them. That's truly not the way I should be either and I know it!

I have a few times and gotten photo's back with no real answers form the people themselves. They must get too much mail!

I have been known to do this from time to time for sure. I even heard back from one one time. I have also signed Online things that are Politically motivated as well. I feel that unless you use your freedom of Speech (Within reason), you have no right to complain, and how can you expect a change on something either?

I just e-mailed the governor of California last Thursday about the proposed cuts in health care for the disabled. I also contact the elected officials in my area from time to time.
