Hi,
I am a member of a group on Care2 called : adopt a needy family for christmas
This group was set up in order that people would join & help needy families with a few toys for their children for Christmas.
So far 50 families or so have been adopted & have received some help, but there are many more who are still left hoping. We need a miracle AND TIME IS RUNNING OUT. The Appeal will close in next couple of days whilst after that it will become too late to send vouchers & things out via post.
I am therefore wondering as to whether there be any chance that ANYONE might wish to chip in - no matter how little - just to try & bring a smile to a few more childrens faces this xmas.
I am NOT going to put a pay-pal link in this email, because I feel that such would be most INAPPROPRIATE, and would make it seem as though it was `me` who was begging. On the contrary I merely ask that people might consider the few minutes it will take to join Care2 and check out this group for yourselves. Details below.
Many Blessings to everyone.

GROUP :
With christmas ( winter holidays) around the corner, I thought a group offering a hand up to needy children would be a good idea. Stop in and see if you can help someone in need with the holidays.

I wish I could afford to donate, but I have a mother who is terminally ill with lung cancer, and I cant even afford to keep her in diapers and medication. One kind gentleman her in mylot donated his november earning to me through my paypal, and it bought to packs of diapers for me. I posted a discussion asking for 50 cent donation, and included my mothers doctors name, and 800 phone number, and my mothers name, so people could call and verify info, asking for help, and mylot deleted the discussion. I guess i broke a rule. but a couple of people saw it and helped. We get food once a month from our only church here in our rural area, and it really helps. I took personal leave from work to be her caregiver and I have lost everything. But I would do it all over in a heart beat.
I hope you get the help you need for these children. May God Bless and happy Holidays.

This is a great idea. There are many places locally that I have access to for families but I imagine that others do not so this will be very helpful

That is so sweet. I want to help soooo bad but unfortunately I have to go to a local help center to get help with gifts for my kids this year. My husband is the only one working and I am only working here in mylot and yes I did just get paid by mylot but that money has to go for milk for my kids untill my husband gets paid.
I wish you all the luck this holiday season can bring.

It's really a good group to help the needy familly.
I can't give a hand now because I am still a student and have no much money. Also I live outside USA.

being low income myself i find it hard at Christmas Time but I still manage to donate 20 dollars to charity through baby food, Salvation army kettles and donate item from my home that I no longer need. I try to do my part but as prices are going up and wage are not it is making it more and more difficult. I hope my part this year has helped..Merry Christmas.

I'm a member of Care2 - adopt a needy family. I love that group. They are very loving people.
I have had help from the group myself for Christmas.
I would love to help the other families, but I'm still in need of help myself with other things going on right now.
