Mind was working in a sausage factory. My job was to take the sausages out of the drying cooler and scrub the mold off with a wire brush and a power hose. After two days my hair and skin smelled like mold. I still don't like sausages. What's the worst thing you've ever had to do for a living?

Mall PLayground - An example of a mall playground, made by SoftPlay. This is very similar to the play structure I worked at.
I've been pretty lucky - my jobs haven't been too bad. When I was in university, I worked at a local mall at the children's playground area - you know, one of those big plastic constructions with a plastic ball pool and tube slides? The job itself wasn't too bad, but the worst part was when a child had an "accident" in the ball pool. I had to shut the playground down, scoop all the balls out in to mesh bags, hall about 17 of these giant bags down to the other end of the mall, into the back parking lot, and hose them all down with scalling hot, bleachy water. I'd sometimes have to do this in the middle of the winter, and it would be freezing outside, and even though the water was hot, the balls would occasionally freeze together if I didn't get them inside in time. Yeah, that was probably the worst bit. ;) ~Wyrdsister

My worst job was working as a telemarketer. I had to sit in a tiny, dirty office with a White Pages, and call beef farmers in northern Ontario attempting to sell them half a frozen cow. Didn't do too well. Didn't last longer than a week either.
