The late John Bonham of Led Zeppelin was probably the best and coolest drummer ever but he died at the young age of 32 so their is no telling what great things he could have done. I will have to then vote for Tommy Lee as the Number One drummer alive today. He is so intense in concert when beating those skins and is also a multitalented musician and songwriter as well. I dig his story....he had a dream and went for it, he does his thing his way and faces the consequences like a man. He is a cool MFer.....I talked to him at the Motley Crue show August 05 in Cleveland...
