What is your take on this? There has never been a female President. What is the reason behind this. I personally can see both sides of it, so I am undecided. Would a woman be able to handle the stress, etc. of being in the office as well as a man could? What do you think it would be like with a woman in the office? I am curious to see the answers I get. Please give me your opinions and the reasonings behind them.

Historically, women have not always been watchers of the political process in the United States. The White House Project is a nonpartisan group pushing for more women in leadership positions.

What a women would be like depends on the woman that got into office. Why there hasn't been one yet is easy our Political Culture is why. There is a problem with women in leadership all over the world. WHile there have been women in top postions it is few and far between. Even as legislatiors the numbers are very low. It is changing slowly as more women are getting into professions that typically lead to political careers and the cultures around the world are opening up to women in leadership roles more and more.
