Why do my discussions disappear?

I have noticed that every time I start a discussion, and I finally start getting lots of responses, they all of a sudden disappear. There is nothing offensive in them, they are good topics. This makes no sense to me! Am I doing something wrong? I would like to know so that I don't waste my time starting a topic if it is only going to disappear and I get no credit for them. Please help!

I dont know and really that's sad! Maybe something for the mylot moderators to look for. I think if they plan to remove a discussion, they should first alert the creator to delete it within a specified time, and even if they delete it, they should follow up with a message why it was deleted?
