For me, it's the vacuum. With two dogs, I vacuum almost daily, and I'll frequently switch it on to "dry floor", and take care of the kitchen and bathrooms.

I use ammonia. I am a housekeeper and my boss turned me on to it. It is so cheap and works like magic!! I use it mainly as a degreaser in the kitchen. To get the splatters of gooey grease off of the stove panels ans even walls for theose of you are messy ccoks :) It is so versatile. It can be used to clean windows smear free, and used for deep cleaning cupbords and floors. To avoid the harsh smell, dump a couple caps full of your every day cleaner like Pine-Sol. I typically don't use Pine-Sol for cleaning (another tip from my boss). It actually takes more work to use it unless you are just wiping things and need a disinfecting job done. But ammonia is so strong that it usually cuts through just about anything.
