Let me put it this way, I love God and have a personal relationship with Him. I feel that there are two ways to worship Him.
1..Man made rules..many religions and ideas
2..Faith alone, a one and one.
I think it is very important to be saved and trust in Him.

It is not really about religion as it is about a personal relationship with God. You can be as religious as the pope but that is not going to get you to heaven, you must have a relationship.

I think it depends on the person. Some people need religion and need it as an important part of their life. Some don't. I'm fairly religious, mainly because it feels right to me. I've done a lot of reading and a lot of soul searching to come to my own conclusions, and in the end I felt comfortable with a particular sect of Christianity/Diesm and have subscribed to it ever since. It helps me and it gives me strength. But people take strength from all sorts of things, and not everyone needs religion in their life.
