hers some reason for plugging into music when you exercise
Listening to music while you toil in the gym is not a sign of a short attention span or a lack of inner resources: qite the reverse in fact. it can help to sharpen your mind.
its long been known that exercise lifts mood, and theres also evidence that its proves cognitive function in the coronary artery disease patients. music is also thought to inhance brain power, so researchers at ohio state university put the two together. they took 33 male and female heart patients and give them teat for verbal fluency and mood before and after exercise.
half of the group listen to the vivaldis"the four seasons" the other half listen to nothing.
the patients all felt better emotionally after exercise, with the music making no difference. They all showed improved mental functions but those who heard the music showed twice the improvement of the other group.
so you see how music help in ourself?
