Snow is used as a thermal insulator conserving the heat of the Earth and protecting crops from sub-freezing weather. On the other hand, substantial snowfall sometimes disrupts infrastructure and services, even those of a region that is accustomed to such weather. Automotive traffic may be greatly inhibited or may be stifled entirely. Basic infrastructures such as electricity, telephone lines, and gas supply can also be shut down. This can lead to a "snow day", which is a day on which the school or other services are cancelled due to an unusually heavy snowfall.
In areas that normally have very little or no snow, a snow day may occur with light accumulation or even the threat of snowfall. A mudslide, flash flood, or avalanche can occur when excessive snow has accumulated on a mountain and there is a sudden change of temperature

I like the snow. But I dont like the cold. I also dont like when my car keeps getting stuck in the snow. Its hard to get my car out of the snow when its stuck. Then the bottom of my pants get all wet. Then my feet get wet cause we arent used to snow where I live and we dont buy boots. I cant park underground at my work when it snows because then my car might not be able to drive up the slippery enterance to get out when I want to leave my work and I might get stuck at my work overnight which would just be a nightmare too me. But other than that, ya I think the snow is beautiful and I like it.

well where I live we mostly get rain, so if it does snow its usually only for like 1 day before it melts away. But this year we got major snow and it lasted about 2 weeks. As you can imagine our city wasnt ready for it. Not enough road sanding ect. I just absolutly dread the snow. LOL
