Do you believe that males should leave the toilet seat down for females, or should females leave the toilet seat up for males?

I don't mind either way. It's just a bit nasty when I am wanting to go the loo in the middle of the night and I nearly fal in because the seat is up! :P
I think majority rules - if there are more women in the house then its just polite to put it down again. If there are more men then the woman should put the seat up :P

I think men should put it down, like I would imagine most females do. Out of courtesy for the ones who have to sit LOL. We don't like having to touch it. The only way that I wouldn't mind is if the man is the one who is primarily cleaning it-then they claim the bathroom as theirs and do as they wish. But it is usually the girls who scrub the bathroom down-so we rule!!! Do what we say!!!

Males should put the toilet seat down for us, treat us like ladies hehe. I hate touching the toilet seat and I will say that my boyfriend might be a gentlemen...but not when it comes to putting the toilet seat down lol. It's not that big of a deal though, he could be doing worse things like peeing on the seat...EEWW!

i dont really mind whether the toilet seat is up or not. if i want it down, then i should bring it down when i wanna use, and if my bf wants it up, he should bring it up...i dont really go into such details LOL but it's a good point for many others, i guess

Toilet seat down. Because when you sit on a toilet you sometimes don't look - like at night - so it's easier to have an accident. Men have to put the seat up, so they have to look and see first. Less chance of an accident. That's my theory, though.
