Is there any legitimate jobs?

There doesn't seem to be anything legit out there, any site I look on for on line work from home wants me to pay first, up front! Either that or I must live in a certain place in the world! It is a scam that some do to earn money, and more fool the souls who actually fall for the scams and pay up. Has anyone out there ever actually had a success story of paying up front and earning a decent income?
