Hi, I do love this sport. I am from a very little village in the canaries and there wasnt any rhythmic gymasntics club when I was little, so I discover this beautiful sport when I travel to mainland spain with my school. I met some girls that used to play it so they show me to do the splits and stuff and I was so amazed that I started to do some exercises on my own. Then I watched it on TV at the 1996 Olimpics and when I was 15 I heard about a new opened club near my home so I joined it. I just loved it and I did it really good, but girls there did not love it that much and the club was not that good, you know I mean, so I movrd to a better club where I did some performances. Spain is a good country to play this sport, but no england. So I haven't seen this sport on TV since I've been in the Uk but I have loads of tapes with recordings from olimpics and sutff. I like Alina Kabaeva, also kazakova,,in general I like gymnast that are small and very flexible. it is a shame that I discovered this sport when I was 13. To be a good gymnast you must start when you are really young. If I had the chance of being born again, I wont think twice,,,I will join a good gymnastics team as soon as possible. thanks for reading xxx

Ohhh, you should still try to do some. Also as rhythmic gymnastics may be a more doable for the dance part when older, as there are many adult ballerinas today. Good luck!
