What do you really have? / myLot

I find that alot of times when you ask someone or when you get into a discussion with someone about what one 'has in life' the common responses are things like family that loves me a great spouse a home/job/etc wonderful kids and so on....I do that myself actually but I was thinkin last night that as much as I have amazing kids, ppl that love me, food in my belly/clothes on my back/roof over my head etc there is in fact one thing that tops them all...I have piece of mind.....regardless of whatever I've done in my life, and believe me there is plenty, I have no regrets, no guilt, no doubts...I stand strong in what i believe adn in the fact that I walk to the beat of my own drum..I know that I am a wonderful person, a fantastic mother, a great friend and wife etc and I am solid in all I've done whether others understand/agree/see it or not...But then i got to wondering how many ppl can really say that and mean it....I mean i know a lot of ppl in my life that can toss those words out there but you know that they are just tossing them out, there is no truth to them ya know..... What about you? what do you really have and how much does it mean to you?

What do I have? *stops a moment and thinks* I have strength. Not physically..though there's a bit of that too. I mean inside, I have enough strength to keep my cool in dire situations. To do what it takes to survive and not sacrifice what I believe in and live for along the way. To dare and be what I am even if the corrupt would like to have others believe I'm evil for doing so, to fight for those I love. I have a mother who loves me (My lady the Goddess). I have three awesome friends who've shown time and again their unending loyalty ^_^ I have creativity, originallity. And I guess that's what I really have. *smiles*
