Can You Love Someone You Cannot Trust?

I read a text message that goes someting like this:
The best compliment that you can tell a person is "I Trust You." Why? Because it is easy to love someone you can trust, but you'll defintely have a difficult time loving someone that you cannot trust.
Nice quote, isn't it? I find some truth in that message. How about you? I'd love to hear what you have to say.

a solide relationship is based on trust. it won't last long without it. if it's lucky to even last, it's not gonna be a happy relationship. too much tension between two people without trust. my boyfriend and i lives so very far apart. but we're happy. we trust each other. and that's what makes the relationship strong.

I believe in what you've said. And I'd like to wish you and your boyfriend luck with your relationship. Not everyone can go on a long distance relationship like you guys.
God bless and may you always be happy... =)

I would be direct to answer such question... No I can't.
Trust is one of the foundations that makes a relationship. Love is not felt in a snap, moreso trust. Both of these elements go hand-in-hand. One will have mixed emotions and a sense of instability in a relationship if trust is absent. How could you keep the glow in love if you're having negative thoughts? If either of the parties involved feels the other cannot be trusted, a feeling of insecurity will set in..and this could bring wreck to a relationship. Further, it's difficult to build one's trust again once it's broken. Once trust was shattered, love will surely fade.

Yes you can...but it won't work out. That's almost what happened with me and my ex boyfriend. You can love them very much, but it's going to hurt like a you know what. And chances are, it wont last.
