Adam and Eve and the whole incest thing..

They lived a long time.. read a study once which said by time Cain married could have or should have been around 25,000 people... Cain killed Abel.. we have no mention of his having a wife.. No they didn't sleep with their mother, and in cest as we understand it today did not yet exist.. for everyone was still pretty closely related, and the DNA dangers of it were not yet present as they came about through seperation of genes, over these thousands of years.. so if you marry your sister now, you have too few gene differences.. I've always thought it is interesting how Adam called Eve "the mother of all" and then after the time of dispersal (after the flood, the memory of, which was recorded and passed down in all lands) the fist 'gods' were "mother" 'gods'![Collective memories of Eve!] ....It's also interesting how in both Egyptian and Roman (and other) ruling families it was popular to wed your sister (to keep the 'godlike' line pure!] - And these follks were becoming more and more insane!! [And the bible predicts there will be yet - one more.]

There wasn't the taboo on incest yet, until separation of genes over time continuing, now DNA is so separated to the families, less andless variety of genes, it causes big troubles. JOBARK - I did not invent, that's why i put bible references.just read the bible its up to you if you want to believe or not. as you have said, we are given free will by God to choose between right or wrong. If you want to sleep with your mum or sister or your daughter if you have any go ahead you can do that, why not? But Incest is considered now by the Bible as a mortal sin.

Jobarker- Adam and Eve had a lot of children. Cain & Abel didnt sleep with their mum. Painful Pleasure is correct, people come from incest and there is nothing wrong with that because it was allowed by God BEFORE. The very reason why God allowed incest before is because God wanted the world to be filled by people. When the world is filled already by people, and they spread all over the world, God gave the law through Moses that incest was then considered sin(see Leviticus 18 in the Bible). ShaiAnna, sorry but what you said was wrong that there were other people at the time of adam and eve. (see Genesis 5 in the bible) When Seth, the third child of adam and eve was born, Adam was 130yrs old. After Seth was born, Adam lived another 800 yrs during which he had more children. These children of Adam bore more children too and each of them lived an average span of life of 930yrs. They scattered all over the world to the east, south, north, west of eden. So imagine if a man can live 930yrs that time how many descendants will come from him. Cain was sent east of eden where he met his wife. It is not detailed but maybe that time Cain was 200 or 300 or 400 yrs old which is still considered young at that time. In short, Cain's wife is also a descendant of Adam and Eve. In Genesis 6 of the bible, God said i will no longer let man live longer, i will make them live up to average of 120yrs only. This is the whole story.

There's been alot of incest through time, especially in Royal Lines, if it wasn't from Adam and Eve it's definately from somewhere else.
