A pill to erase memory

This is about Propranolol. Critics call it a pill that erases memory or takes away memory. But if you watched the stories that covered it in depth you will notice that propranolol doesnt erase memory. It prevents the rush of adrenaline to a person suffering from Post traumatic stress disease or syndrome when he remembers the traumatic things.
Repeating this process eventually retrains the brain so that traumatic events can be recalled without much emotion. In other words, Propranolol may be able to eliminate the severe emotional response to past events that many people have. More studies are being conducted.
There doesn't seem to be any loss of memory associated with using these pills. In an interview with one woman who used the drug, it was apparent that she remembered all the details of the rape she suffered as a child. She just no longer suffered from the crippling emotions that used to come with the recollection.
There may be some potential for abuse of this drug. People could use it to overcome the feelings from extreme guilt or embarrassment, rather than using these feelings as a motivation for changing their behavior. But there are risks of abuse with any new drugs, even those that do wonderful things.
On balance, it seems like those risks are worth it in this case. At this point, there don't seem to be any side effects, and Propranolol may be of great benefit to those who suffer from PTSD. So what are your opinions about this?

really, i made a research onthat medicine too not long ago and it really lowers your adrenalin. may autny uses that medicine to lower her high blood pressure.
so if propranolol lowers the intense of emotion, does that mean it lower the happines of a person.. could it really help those who suffer from pts? or it could just make them blunt affect?

yeah, just come to think of it, if propranolol can lower the intense of emotion theres a possibility that the person may get numb from the feelings of others. good thing i havent see that to my aunty.
