For those of you who attended a high school, or something equivalent to it, how was it? You always here that for the sporty popular kids it was the best years of their life, and for everyone else it was hell. So, was it? I’m curious how it really went down for everyone. Was it amazing, was it nothing special, did you gain or lose anything while being there?
From the general stereotyping of kids in high school I would have been that art “goth” kid. However, I was nowhere close to fitting that Hollywood movie role of being depressed, an outcast, and a loner. I was friends with basically everyone, honor student, and president of the National Art Society and Photography club. As for the experience… looking back on it, I wish I still had all the time to do whatever I wanted. Back then I couldn’t wait to grow up and get out, and now I miss the freedom I had.

i dont really remember what happened during my highschool years. maybe because i was the delinquent sort of kid. i skipped class whenever i can (hahaha, i even had a bunch of excuse letters to get me out of class in different situations). i dont do my homework. i dont do projects. i dont participate in groupworks. i dont attend school programs(well, when they call on our band to play, then we play). i always get involved in fights (with students, teachers, security personnel). and yet i managed to maintain an average that qualified me to enter the top university in my country.
hmmm, now that i think of it, yeah, i enjoyed highschool.

Haah, awesome! They had cameras everywhere at my school so it was kind hard to ditch, not that I would have anywhere to go if I did. The town was kinda small. Did you mean band as in the school band or as in your personal one?
