You screamed and ran away? The dog thought you were playing. Dude, it's a dachsund... stand up to the dog. You should have given him a smack on the butt for biting you, and punished the dog. You are supposed to be the alpha. Act like one. If you don't know how to train your dog, go to obedience classes and learn. This is not acceptable behavior, and the dog didn't learn anything except that you make fun noises and run around when he bites you.
