what if earth stops rotating?

have u lost ur sleep for seeing the earth in a non rotating condition??

it wil be cataclismic.. its nt jus day /night.. the whole planet would seize to exist. its the rotation that maintains the force of gravity and rotation coupled with revolution is that which balances the forces and has prevented the earth being sucked up into other stars and planets. when the rotation cease, earth would plummet into a nearby star meeting a tragic end.....
