Let's face it, if mothers were at home with their kids they could be learning manners and proper behaviour instead of roaming around the streets and skipping school.
I think if more women stayed home with their kids there would be fewer problems with rude kids and anti-social behaviour.
What do you think?

I have exceptional manners, behave properly in appropriate settings or never wandered the streets (I will admit to skipping school a few times but not regularly) and my mother worked as did dad. My sister and I behaved. We were raised to respect our elders and I do, even if they are unworthy of it. So your thinking is false.

I disagree. Children are rude because they emulate their parents and peers not because they don't have a mother at home. Children have bad behaviour when they are taught to be this way. Other things that cause this are spoiling.... When a child is spoiled they behave badly as well.
I don't think any of this really has to do with the mother not being home. Look at some children in the ghetto with irresponsible mothers. Some of these mothers are home living on welfare and not working but their children are badly behaved.
I think that if parents taught their children manners then the child would have manners. As the child grows up though that's another story.
