Let me translate common English words into the Pilipino language!
Maybe you want to impress your Filipina girlfriend, your Filipino boss or just your Filipino friends abroad.

Hi Tan,
Orange has no direct translation in Tagalog, but a common translation is "kahel" referring to a fruit that resembles an orange in our country.

Hello tan,
I guess not, as "dalandan" does not turn orange even when already ripe. It stays green. Dalandan is really "lime".

Ok here it is, How do you say sayang in English???? Please tell me. It's hard for me to translate this word from Tagalog to English?

Wasn't it to be the other way around? I translate foreign words or sentences to Tagalog? But sure, here it is - "sayang"
in good English should read - "wasted" or "just wasted" if it will refer to an opportunity and a wasted item like food.
