I don't think that the movies or books of Harry Potter are made just for kids. Yes. the first couple books may seem a little childish but they do have an amazing storyline that people of all ages can enjoy. The more u get into the series, the more, I think, the story becomes for older children and adults. The last couple of books have been pretty dark and they have more situations in them that might scare younger kids and they may not even understand. So, I think that Harry Potter has an awesome storyline and it's not just for kids! =)

Your going to have to create a new group, because I'll be fifty next September 9th.
The series is for all ages young and old. It's magic lies in it's approach to story telling. For me, it takes me back to the age of the characters and how I felt at the time. Reading it is a good way to stay young at heart. And if you younger readers catch yourself thinking the same thing ten, twenty or thirty years from now when you re-read it, then you will appreciate what I mean.
By the way, I’m proud to say I still don’t have as much gray hair as Dumbledore
