Someone please help the middle class.

I've yet to see anyone in the White House or our freaking elected senators, do anything about the rapid decrease in jobs within the middle class and before. I only here CNN spokesmen speaking on the issue. It seems like everyone else is so wrapped up with the war, (which does need a lot of attention), that they are forgetting about the actual American still here in the country. We need help as an people. What can the average person do and what do you feel? Am I the only one here that thinks this way?
