Should Men Have the Right to Choose AGAINST ABORTION?

I truly believe men should have a choice when it comes to abortion....just as soon as they all have a uterus.

This is well linked in to another topic I answered to where I stated that men and women can never truly be equals in everything and this is a good example. Its not entirely fair on the man that he either has a kid to look after/pay for that he didn't want or doesn't get the child he dreamed of, but in comparison the man having the choice is totally unfair. Forcing a woman to have a child, to go through all that pain and all the problems for a child they dont want, it creates even more problems than their currently is in my opinion.

I agree with misskatonic and toastking. Ultimately, the choice lies with the woman; however, there should be some discussion before she makes her choice. And, on a somewhat related topic, I also believe that if a man decides he does not want the child but the woman gives birth anyway then he should legally be able to give up his parental rights and in doing so also rid himself of any responsibility he has for caring for the child. Paying child support after you've been there and raised a child for a few years is one thing, but when someone expresses their wish not to have the child before it is even born, they should not be held responsible for it's care.
