Where ever you live, do you think the minimum wage is seriously enough to support a living? Not a luxourious living, but a living with all the basic needs to really survive in life independently...
This would be like:
A car - Seriously, now days this is seriously needed.
Fuel - Keep in mind the recent increases in price.
Home
Food
etc...

Our minimum wage is only 5.15 an hour, while most places give a bit more then that it still isn't enough to live on really. Minimum wage is in talks of going up to 7 something here soon, which would help a bit, but not a whole lot.

Hell no my husband works 6 days a week and hard labor and he even makes a little bit more than minimum wage and it is only $1000 a month and we live in L.A. an apartment is at LEAST $700 and then bills ! We take the bus and can barely afford that plus we are in school!
Ridiculous!!
I want to move out so badly I still live with my in-laws

No way is it enough to support a living, but its fine for teenagers like myself.
