I think Mylot should have mylotians vote for administrators. Ofcourse no one would be able to vote for themselves, but if you know anyone on mylot that has been dedicated, hardworking, and just good all-around... not posting junk etc... Put their name below and let us know why they should be considered for a administrator. Let's help clean up mylot by voting for mylot admins!
I'm going to vote for alienstar.
I don't know this dude, but he/she posts some very good discussions and never replies with crap.

I personaly dont think there should be admins here. We are our admins, that's why mylot.com put the +, - and ! signs to report offensive or junks discussion. So we are honoured by mylot.com to the the admins, no matter who or where we are, we are encourage to help mylot.com. So why not use the facility? Cheers!

Wow I had a simimar topic!
Called Lets Help MYLOT.
I Vote NO on Admins!!!!!!!!!!!
Some topics I find fun!
( The so called junk or stupid ones is some of the reasons I check in so often, for the laughs)
Some topics have no idea what there saying.
Some are very informative!
If this is about not getting responses I think thats what the friends area is for find friends with common interest they should respond!

I think having a few fun topics is a great idea as well, I don't want to be in a forum where all the talk is about serious topics all the time...first of all not every member here has a serious topic all the time...you just can't...if we did eventually the forum would get so boring that no body would bother to post anymore.

Thanks!
I think people get offened when their serious topics don't get a lot of responses, but not every one can relate.
Do you have hair 100% of the members can answer
What are you thoughts on so and so's speech in the 1900s
Mabye 5% can answer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This mylot is made to collect the different opinion from different people if admin is the judge then what is the use of our opinion.

Administrators are not for judging, they are to help keep mylot a fun and fair place. I think it would be easier to have a few people helping them out. It seems like everything that gets done takes them forever to do. A lot of people are still on here wasting our precious space on needless discussions, with mylot administrators they could help filter out this kind of material that is again mylot policy.

i dont think we need additional admins. we can help the mylot admins in cleaning up by simply reporting offensive and "trash" discussions.

But they do do something about it, havn't you seen all the complainta about ratings going down. That is from when they delete posts or accounts.

If they start putting admins here that will be the end of me posting to Mylot as I would quit in a second...when you get admins the control goes to there head and before you know it the only posts they leave are there own, or there friends...I have seen the outcome of that type of strategy..I vote a BIG NO to ADMINS...let mylot do there job they are doing fine by themselves....this topic should be dropped like a hot potatoe.

How many forums are you a member of? Personally I am or have been a member of over 25...and each and everyone of these has gone through what you are trying to do here...and each of these are now controlled by the admins, they monitor all the topics going in and police every aspect of the forum, if they see something they don't like they delete it, whether good or bad...the admins post anything they like, and if someone posts complaining about there topics they get banned for breaking rules, that conviently get shaped to the admins liking...and yes I will post that I think this topic should be dropped, just like you said this is a open discussion, and anyone can post there views, this is my view of this topic, control is starting already...

Man... I totally agree with you. We do not need people running around here with little arm bands on telling us what we can and can not post. myLot can handle that. There is the rating to help deal with people and if people post something that is against the myLot rules you can always report them with the ! button.

I think you would make an excellent administrator. You can certainly have my vote, and if elected, I am sure you will do a good job at helping to get rid of the copycats and spammers.

I don't think that My Lot needs any more admins than they already have. They are doing their best.
I disagree with everyone saying that nothing is done when we report people. I have seen a ton of posts about ratings going down and the reason this is happening is because the my lot mods are deleting posts and accounts of those who abuse the system.
I am quite happy to help out the current mods by reporting any abuse that I see, just as they have asked. I don't feel that adding more admins will help solve the problem.
