Does life have a meaning. WE don't know why we are here, and we know that we will die. SO what's the point? Can life really have a meaning other than simply the fact that the right chemicals came together to allow humans to exist for the brief time they do?

As far as,I believe,we are here,just as the animals,birds,insects,bacteria etc.Our life has a meaning,if theirs has one.
In my opinion,Nature wants the species to propagate and survive, but the individual members die,in due course, and new ones are born.
More than this I am not aware of.

Thanks for your response. But my question still remains...what is the purpose of living? If nature allows us to live (which it does) that still doesn't give us a purpose. Do we live JUST for the sake of living? And if we say the purpose of our life is a career or family etc..that still doesn't answer my question, because that is the purpose of life to that purpose. I am asking: what's the purpose overall...what's it all heading to and what's the alternative...say if all humans stopped existing, nature would still go on. Nature doesn't need us.
