does any onehere cannot differentiate colors..mainly matching ones like green & red,green & blue,etc..

it's posible that color blindness can run in families and it's also true that far more men are color-blind than are women.
it's an X-linked recessive gene, meaning that males who have X/Y can exhibit colour-blindness if they have the gene, since the Y can not make up for it. women (who have 2 X's) can be colour-blind onbly if both of their X chromosomes have the gene. usually this is not the case and the "good" X carries the dominant colour-seeing gene that makes up for the other.

I have never experienced colour blindness however have a girlfriend that can not tell the difference between orange and red

No, but my hubby was wondering not too long ago, how do we really know what the colors are? what if blue is green to someone else, and red is yellow to others... No, it didn't make any sense to me either.. but what the hey, he was really intrigued by it :)) :))

i dun think i m colourblind but I do have a friend who is. He told me that there r degree of colour blindness and his is mild. generally he can see colours ok, maybe the shade could be different from what i m seeing, because it is only certain colours that he could not see... and then when u put certain combination together... he cannot see the difference. sounds complicated, right?
