Everyone knows that, while the rest of the world drives on the right side of the road, the British, Irish, Norwegians and a few others drive on the .... left side of the road. It is said that the British drive on the side they do because if one is wielding a sword, one can defend oneself better if one rides to the left of the oncoming adversary. This goes to show, perhaps, that road rage originated in Britain. There is actually no logical reason for driving on a particular side of the road, except that it's generally a good idea if all drivers observe the same rule.

Different countries, different laws, different cars, different roads, different people... Who knows? The world is just full of diversity.

That's because the roads are different and so is the car directions.
