I believe in medical testing on animals, but not cosmetic testing. Medical testing is necessary and leads to amazing medical breakthroughs. We need it. I can't imagine anyone denying that medical animal testing has benifited us all.
Cosmetic testing? Not a priority and is just cruel in my opinion.

I'm praying everyday for a solution to my health problems! ;) There are so many medical conditions that we don't have the cure or treatment for, and we need them. For all the people who are sick and dying with no options. Animal testing helps to get us there.

I dont think that animal testing should be carried upon. First of all it harms animals and secondly success in animal testing doesnot constitute that it wont harm human skin as well.

If it's testing for something that can cure a disease or help us understand one then yes. I still won't support animal testing for beauty products.

I don't think we should test such paltry things as beauty products on animals. I don't think we should use animals for research of any kind UNLESS we can show that it is a study that will possibly save or extend human life, and that no human beings are willing to participate in the testing. Any animals used for this purpose should be put into a state of sleep or made insensitive to pain. They should be rewarded with everything they like best. They should be given names, and these names should be listed on the products for all people benefitting from these tests to read.

I think animal testing is needed to an extent. If it is truly for medical reasons and going to save human lives, then I say it should be allowed. If it's just to see if a lipstick is going to cause reactions then no.
