I read the discussions about e-gold and iKobo. I must give my experiences with iKobo and e-gold.
I got my first payment from myLot $16.04 through my iKobo account. The first month, I must pay monthly charge $0.99.
When I withdraw the money, I could withdraw $11.25 only and iKobo charge me $1.99. I must say goodbye for the rest of the money $1.81.
12/17/2006 CASH FROM DDA BANK CENTRAL AS ID $-11.25 $1.99
11/28/2006 MONTHLY SERVICE CHARGE $0.99
With e-gold, the fee is only 1% or maximum $1. So, it would be better if you set the high minimum payment ($100)..Because, if myLot pay you more than $100, the fee is only $1.
What do you think? Do you have any experience about e-gold or iKobo? I'm waiting to discuss it...

I think that you've given a great information. I don't have both account, but I will choose e-gold rather than iKobo. Thanks for the information.

Thanks for the compliment. I really appreciate it. You should know the true information before you sign-up and join in a program. You must choose e-gold, there's no option for iKobo anymore.

I'm inactive for a week. It's good if there's no option for iKobo anymore. By the way, what about your iKobo card? Could you transfer the money to e-gold?

Hey, you give an insight. I've never thought about it. But, I think iKobo could only send money to another iKobo account:(
I must forget the iKard and the money..

the charge is almost the same actually since e-gold charges 1% plus the charges of the out side exchange in order to withdraw the cash from e-gold. with that is say it is more convinient to use the ikobo system since it has only one process unlike e-gold which needed another site for exchange which also charges another some percentage depending on which exchange are you using. on card delivery also is expansive at about 30 dollars, if you gonna wire it its another charge from the bank which gonna rcieve it. now do the math. greetings. : )

It's true if you choose International e-gold exchange. But, if you use local e-gold exchange, the fee is less than iKobo.
Thanks for the opinion. I really appreciate it.

Thanks for the opinion. I really appreciate it. myLot haven't given the iKobo option to me. Though I have the iKobo card. So, e-gold is the best option, because I can withdraw the money. It's not with PayPal in my country.

thanks for ur review and information.i havent got any payment from ikobo yet but i found its already cost more then egold, because for the card we hv to pay $9 (if i'm not mistakeen) while egold is very easy to sell in my country and only chanrge 2% for selling below $25 and also the fee from egold is not expensive its less then $1 for $13.60 i sell.only around $0.2-0.3 because the fee is depending on the rate price of the gold/oz that day:)
but if i set the payment in mylot fo $100 then it'll take me more then 10mth to get paid because i cant online all the time so its not a good idea for me:)

yea... with e-gold you can withdraw to your e-gold exchanger even if you only have $1-$2 and drop into your ATM.But e-gold sometimes charge to me about 5 % of the transaction.like for example when i transfer money to my other e-gold account(B) about $0.5 ,my money have $0.47 at my other account (B).
But i still accepted it.

Ikobo is a nobody. Even paypal is threatened by e-gold popularity, because e-gold have their own DDS, their site is easy to load and takes lesser time even on slow connections. Their accounts' management procedure is too good. They have a lesser record for problems. When paypal's retired officials disclosed at their free will in public forums that they have been scammingly freezing accounts for no particular reasons, people turned from it and e-gold was established in competition. Paypal is now only running because of its association with e-bay. Mostly the site-owners have replaced paypal with e-gold, then who is iKobo compared to e-gold.

You are from UK, of course there's PayPal service and e-gold. Why you said that there's no PayPal service? Do you mean your nationality? Where's your country? As long as you have internet connection, you could access e-gold.
Better if you ask myLot about it.

i have gone through with many discussions where people are complaining that there amount on e-gold is stolen.. so if it is not secure then if it gives the the servises free of cost , it is is not worth ... you go through the discussion in e-gold, searh it on search option and update yourself.. TAKE CARE ...

I knew the discussions. But, in the discussions told us about the security too. If we use the recommended security, it will be safe. And we have no option. e-gold is better than iKobo.

iKobo debit card is not free. myLot paid for it and there's withdrawal and maintenance fees.
Yes, you must buy e-gold card if you join in the International e-gold exchanger, but if you knew the local exchanger, it's free.
