The beginning of death of music????

With all this technology nowadays and people downloading how many of you out there actually buy cd's anymore???? its kinda sad that the music industry is beginning to wind down and to be an artist nowadays isnt the same as like 30 years ago.... what do you all think?

I know pleny of people that still buy CDs to support the bands they like.
I don't think technology will kill music. I had a speaker from Warner Brothers come to speak in one of my classes, and it seems the music industry is coming up with many interesting ways to market music these days.
