rang de basti and lage raho munnabhai.... these two movies released this yr... and where competing in the race for india nomination in the oscars... rang de was on the ideologies of Bhagat Singh and lage raho on Mohandas Gandhi's.... even during the times of these men their ideologies had totally opposite kinda followers... in a sense these ideologies were competing.... as an aftermath to both the movies there was an uproar... one forced the youth to vent their anger against the corrupt officials... where the other forced "gandhigari" into common life.... my views are listed below: i was watching this episode of kya baat hai on mtv ( u can c gd debates on this show..) on the same topic... where they had atul kulkarni on the panel.... in his view the director of RDB wasnt of the idea that violence is the solution and hence the movie runs for 45 mins even aftr the defence minister's death.... in my opinion both the movies are abt agressive approach abt problems... kyunki doorse commentry karna aasaan hai.... where Lage Raho tackles with basic problems in everyday life like ettiquetes (spell ke liye sorry), respect to elders, being truthful.. RDB was against the problems faced by the soul of the nation like corruption, lack of responsibility among the ministers....
