is nvedia geforce4 mx 4000 provide pixel shadder?

if u have a pci-express slot u should go for nvidia 7100 gs 256mb which has pixel & vertex shader 3.0 .u can get it for Rs.3200.The same model with video ram of 512mb is available in the market for Rs.4200.

Hello, you Geforce mx400 (not 4000!) has not pixel and vertex shaders. It has only fixed T&L GPU. T&L means Transform and Lighting. Pixel and vertex shaders means that the gpu can be programmed and there are Three versions, Shader Model 1,2,3 and there is also a new one SM 4.0 in the new and expensive Nvidia 8800gtx or gts. I don't know what is an RS, if you write in euro a price range, I could suggest a video card to buy. If you want a good videocard but not so expensive, you could buy an ATI X1650Pro 256MB gDDR3 128bit memory, that has Pixel and Vertex Shader 3.0 and costs about 100 euro. You can buy it with an AGP connector or PCI-EXPRESS one...it depends on your motherboard. If you have a fast computer, you could buy an X1950 that is faster but more expensive (about 200 euro) and it's only pci-express.
