I dream about the same dream for over 2 decades. It occurs about twice a year. It's about being on an upper storey of a mall and the staircase cannot be used. Everybody has to jump down a level to exit. They have no problem except me. I am so afraid of getting hurt. My dream will end there after much anxiety. I believe it is related to my childhood experience where I had to go down a long, steep flight of stairs to get home from school.I was very scared of falling.
Do you or someone you know ever have repetitive dreams?

Before I got married I had an oft repeating dream where I was soul mates with a girl named "Sarah" but she was always missing me and I was always missing her and we were constantly apart and longing for one another. Everyone 5th or 6th dream we would reunite and share our feelings and we would be intimate (nothing adult in nature because I was only a teenager, and even though I was a horn y teen I was still moral - at least, back then;) - only to be torn apart again by some sort of fate.
These dreams happened about every few months or so and stopped when I got married. And no, my wife's name is not Sarah!:)
It's quite an odd experience, having repetitive dreams. One could assume that it has some bearing on real life.

No problem. I'm sure there's more people out there like us. I don't know what causes it but it has to have something to do with our brains.
I know that dreaming is our brain's way of organizing information that we've accumulated during the day but I think this is possibly a different phenomenon.
