About fashion models

In the last time it is very talked about anoressy, above all of the models that to make this work have to be thin. A lot of girls take example from the models and to lose weight get sick of anoressy. Do You think is it right that models have to be so thin or do you prefer they be finally of "normal" size giving a healthier image with some more kilos?

If models are supposed to show the rest of the world what fashion should look like, then they should try to present a bit more of a realistic figure for us to see. If they all weigh under a hundred pounds and act merely as "clothes hangers on the runway" as I heard it put on one talkshow, then how are we of more average size going to know what the clothes will look like on us?

sorry i don't know much about this fashion and all ya but i feel models have to be thin so that they look good on the ramp.
