Germany or Italy which is good?

I would like to know which country is good? As far as I concern both these countries English is not much used for communication,if so very rarely.Which language is easy to study? Can any one tell me the living expense in both country? Thanks in advance.............

Germany is facing a recession even then the social security system is strong, i dont know about Italy.

I believe germany is better. You can feel the difference once you are there. The power and status of that country is truly remarkable. Its a neat and sophisticated country.
