Just want some Japanese to answer

I am a Chinese,when I entered elementry school,teachers tell me that Japanese invaded China before,killed many innocent Chinese,so most of the Chinese Child more or less hate Japan,think Japanese are all tough gays.I wonder how does Japanese see the war between China and Japan during 1937-1945. And do Japanese also hate Chinese people.
