No, the opportunity never arose, plus I've never been on a plane so I think if I had the money, I'd choose to go somewhere else first, like to visit a religious place, then if I had my grandchildren with me I might go to Disneyland.

The joy and spirit of the holiday season are being celebrated in true Disney style. You'll find yuletide cheer around every corner and festive fun for kids of all ages this holiday season.

I haven't been to either Disneyland or DisneyWorld, but I want to. BTW, you aren't too old to go...I think we all would enjoy a trip to Disney!

Yes, the one in Paris. But I were a bit too old as well, so didn't have that much fun.

I've been to the one in Anaheim, CA. I like it very much and went with my husband about 12 years ago. It was fun going without any children. LOL. I think DisneyWorld is bigger and bettr. Thats just my opinion.

Disneyland, one of the world's first theme parks, opened in Anaheim, California, on this date in 1955. Conceived by Walt Disney, the park was built in one year at a cost of $17m. The opening ceremonies were televised, with Art Linkletter, Bob Cummings, and Ronald Reagan acting as emcees. Disney theme parks have since opened in Orlando, Tokyo, and Paris, and one is due to open soon in Hong Kong.
