HYIP Programs

A High Yield Investment Program, or HYIP, is a purported investment program normally offered via the Internet. HYIPs typically accept investments of $500 or less while promising high returns.
No HYIP has, as yet, survived for very long without turning out to be a scam. HYIPs are Ponzi schemes, in which new investors (usually unwittingly) provide the cash to pay a profit to existing investors, which they typically then withdraw leaving nothing to pay the new investor. This approach allows the scam to continue as long as new investors are found and/or old investors leave their money in the scheme, known as compounding (because even higher profits are promised).
HYIPs are frequently advertised in HYIP monitors (see below), spam emails, forums, mailing lists and Google AdWords. People are typically given a commission (for example, 9% of invested funds) when they provide a referral of a new customer.
HYIPs typically are not based in places such as the United States, western Europe, or Japan - which have strong enforcement against unregistered investment opportunities. Most HYIPs disclose little or no detail about the underlying management, location, or other aspects of how money is to be invested, and relatively little information (other than asserting that they do various types of trading on various stock and other exchanges) on how they actually generate the returns they purport. They are sometimes presented with some form of an emotional appeal, appeals for faith, and promises that they will help investors achieve financial freedom.
Arguably, the largest HYIP scam that has existed on the internet was PIPS (People in Profit System or Pure Investors)[1][2]. The investment scheme was started by Bryan Marsden in early 2004, (according to the Wayback Machine record of http://pureinvestor.com) and spanned more than 20 countries. PIPS was investigated by Bank Negara Malaysia in 2005 which resulted in Marsden and his wife being charged in a Malaysian court with 97 counts of money laundering involving more than RM77 million - US$20 million - (copy of New Straits Times article dated 11 Oct 2006).
The introduction of e-currencies has made it possible for HYIPs to operate on the internet and cross international boundaries, and to accept large numbers of small investments. HYIPs usually accept e-gold, e-bullion, INTGold, and until Feburary 2006, StormPay.

LOL, people who think HYIPs are scams are people who don't know what they are talking about. :-) I can one where I make a lot of money. It's all a matter of finding the right programs to join, because there are a lot of scam sites out there, but the deeper you get into the online investment world the easier it is to filter out the scams and only invest in the great ones. Anyone who want to get started should look at this one:

It has been around for a long time, and will continue to do so. The money you throw into the program are invested in forex and stocks by profrssional brokers. This is how serious HYIPs work. No different then if you get your bank to invest in stocks for you. This is just done online. I've been doing this for a while, and believe me, you can make a lot of $$s.

According to me Interpol will not have time to be in charge of that.
Because still many that needed Interpol be in charge of apart from the HYIP problem

yet if he is making soooo much money, why waste his time on mylot earning pennies than going out and having fun as HYIPs don't require you to even be at the comp to earn so logically he would not have to be at home or even on the comp to earn this so called mass sums.

Nope, we don't know that the SEC has deemed HYIP sites illegal ponzi scams in this country and many others.
We also don't know that just because something pays out doesn't make it legitmate business. Look up "12DailyPro" and "HYIP Scams" in any major search engine. Do some research. These things are scams and eventually everyone gets ripped off. Also use the above search key terms at this forum: http://www.getpaidforum.com You will see a boatload of angry, ripped-off people.

At first I thought the same like you, how it could be possible to multiply money in a short time, but my perception changed after I learned the forex trading system - marketiva with live-stream. That is real and I have tried it myself that if you have a big amount of money, you can spread your net on currency pairs with stop-loss and targeted points margin automatically. With sufficient knowledge and dicipline with no greed, guarantee you will get a huge profit!
Yes, greed is your first enemy when you enter hyip arena and you will be scammed easily. Many admins are honest and I still trust a lot of my fund there with Egold or Asiawallet and I get my returns in time up to now - and my principal capital has been more than quadrupled!
You may see this as scam but I see this as opportunity, as long as you do the homework before making investment.

Naa I don't think Interpol cares about that, then they would have to take 5 cases per day. :-)

Not All Hyips are scams. Every hyip that do not provide their trading proof or screen shots of their trading sequence is a ponzi. I know a number of hyips which pay like clockwork. It is not a hyip that pays, it is the admin behind it and among many bad scammers there are a few very honest persons. For example, I know a programme which is now repaying its members because they have lost money in trading. Dont you think that finding such a person who is repaying after loss , you will difinitely invest with him as his honesty is proved.

HYIP are usually scam and that's normal because people think to earn enormous money (100% in one day, 50% per day per 30 days or something stupid like that) just using one dollar. I am not an expert about that but I never found one good enough to survive enough to receive back my money. They are a bet. You bet that the site will survive making new affiliates enough time to pay you. So if you are sure to be one of the first affiliates maybe the site can pay you once. I remember only one good HYIP that paid me (just few cents) in a short time nut now it ask a big investment.

some people still believe that HYIP are not scams, well they are. There is a lot of people making lots of money and then people join them and need to have quicly referals to get the money back and that is why they lie that the HYIP is serious and so on ... but please wake up, economy doesn't simply work like that.

Most of the HYIP web site is scam only. But there are so many genuine and good sites are available and peoples are investing and getting returns every day... But only thing is that we have to study carefully about the site and project. There are monitors available to check up the site details etc.

well i really dont know about anything in HYIP although i heard a lot about it. First i dont really like investing money online becoz anytime they can be gone or lost. U dont meet the real person it is just online so anytime it can be gone, that is why i dont like investing. Also a lot of scams now which is not good for me i think.
