Hi, I'm looking for Curish band around the world, I mean any band that is somewhat-someway similar to The Cure, exspecially in their music style. I play in a band called Heavenoise, inspired by Disintegrtaion and Wish albums, then I also know the Essence from Belgium who are very similar to the Cure or the Curiosity from Germany. Can you help me?

well i don't know. its a hard question to ask cuz cure has their own sounds, and it depends what you mean; their guitars, their singing, their style, their pace of music, etc...
otherwise, if you want something that isn't like the standard blase and actually makes you feel and think, like the cure, then go tool, the sound is very differnet, butr no-one else sounds like them. sometimes a bit difficult to get into, but still good.
oh, and the eels are also sweet, but their older stuff is more cure-sy

Sorry but I don't think the eels are curish. Yes I mean that guitar and keyboard sound you find in album like Disintegration or Wish. For me the real Cure sound is in these two albums.

I've been looking around for a Curish band and I haven't found any yet. Some may have that pop punk style with great lyrics but none have compared. Tones On Tail, but they did get a bit famous. I've been working on some music lately, sorta Curish style. Try Collide (although the singer is a lady), she is kind of Curish.
