6 to 8 glasses should be the minimum for everyday needs but its still depend if you having some heavy exercise or sweating a lot. Theres really so call standard on how many you take due to our body needs, activities, enviroments were all difference all the time. The 8 glasses advise was just a minimum requirements for most of the cases in average for a healthy adults.

Well according to experts, one should drink at least 8 glasses of water a day I think that applies to you too. greetings. : )

You should drink at least 8 glasses of water (64 ounces, which is half a gallon or roughly two liters) of water per day. If you're exercising, you should drink more than that. Sorry, but soft drinks don't count because of the sugar content. Actually, Yahoo recently showed a study that claimed the average adult could gain 15 pounds in a year by drinking ONE CAN OF COKE PER DAY.
